Ecouen is located approx. 12 miles north of Paris and 9 miles west of Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport. This small village located in the heart of the « Pays de France » district, houses the Château d’Écouen, home of the Montmorency family. This château, built during the Renaissance, houses the Musée national de la Renaissance, the Renaissance museum in France. This museum attracts travelers on the road from Paris to the North of France. The collections include an exceptional array of decorative arts, paintings and sculpture from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuriesl.

This educational museum, with the help of a flare-path, allows you to experience the full of history of our small village. Come and explore Ecouen and discover what the trail of painters appreciated throughout the second half of the 19th century.
