A glass of Bols.

David Ossipovitch Widhopff (1867-1933) was a remarkable painter but decided to move into the illustrations business, working for “Le Courrier Français” (The French Courier”). A member of our Association recently bought one of his advertising’s drawings “The end of a good diner, a glass of Bols” (Dutch liqueur). The GET brand inspired him as well.
We understand his choice when we see the happy living man he must have been, looking at his statue made by Chana Orloff.
